Shaw & Clark, one of the magic names to the sewing machine collector. This is the rare round-tower model. You can see from the pictures that it has survived the years well.
Shaw & Clark was one of the few makers who subscribed to the Sewing Machine Combination’s licensing demands and this one carries a superb brass label listing the Combination’s patents owned by Howe, Wheeler & Wilson, Grover & Baker, Singer and Bachelder.
