A Nussey Improved Little Stranger from the 1870s.
Check out the superb decaling on the stitch plate. I can’t believe that this machine has done much work at all.
Nussey & Pilling was a Leeds-based maker who produced a number of highly decorated hand-crank machines and also some industrial treadles.
