Maggie's Old Sewing Machines

British Machines

McQuinn

Newton Wilson's only full-size chain-stitch machine, the Cleopatra dates from the .
1860s and this is probably the finest example surviving today.
Check out the intricate design of `lion head and serpent tail forming the machine's arm.
Previous to this machine Newton Wilson's business had concentrated on selling imported American machines and producing clones of Singer models and others.
The machine is totally complete and original.
