Proving that not all sewing machine frames need to be circular, the Gold Medal Company wowed the market with this hexagonal model back in the 1870s.
It’s a very simple chain-stitch machine with a form of Raymond looper making the stitch. But please check out those superb decals – you could almost smell the roses on the base.
